You really should get over to Europe and particularly to Germany. The forests have been carefully managed according to ancient rules. The rules have have been brought up to date with modern legislation. There are plenty of gravel tracks, cycle paths and routes to trek. You can choose for yourself how far you go. Accommodation is available to meet all price ranges, camping to good hotels. There is a wide range of places to eat.
Take your camera, take some pictures for me.

We have  few picture below, we will put up some more soon. Meanwhile let me tell you that walking, riding or cycling in the German forests is absolutely fantastic. If you keep quiet you will usually get to see some wildlife.

As usual when we have been in the forest we did not take the camera or by the time we had got it ready the wildlife had gone. Go see it for yourself you will enjoy it.
